What I enjoy about selling?
|
The main reason I enjoy selling is that I get to meet a lot of
interesting people and I have created many good friends who I have
sold many vehicles to over the years.

What
drives me to sell?
|
What drives me to sell is the good feeling you get when you put
a great deal together and everybody is happy. You feel that you have
really achieved something as well as the monetary rewards.
|
|
My
ideal holiday?
|
My idea of a great holiday is to travel around Australia for about
6 months visiting all the coastal towns then criss-crossing across
the centre.

Interests/hobbies?
|
My favourite hobbies are gardening and playing as much Golf as possible.

Past
employment history?
|
My career started in the Motor Industry in 1958 working for a small,
used car operation at Drummoyne and Five Dock for 6 years. I started
selling new cars in 1964 working for Toyota
and General Motors dealerships. I was appointed Assistant New Car
Manager and a short time later was promoted to Sales Manager at Suttons
Motors Chullora working there for 8 years.
In 1983 I started with Denlo Motors Parramatta as Sales Manager
and worked there for 15 years selling prestige new and used cars.
In January 1998 I started my own business in wholesaling and retailing
used vehicles, and have been doing so ever since.

What
qualities I have that makes
me a good salesperson?
|
To be a good salesman (which I believe I am ) you have to be a good
listener and explain and show the client benefits of the products
that they are purchasing. You must also get on common ground with
them making them feel completely at ease.

Family?
|

I
am happiest when I..?
|
I am making plenty of money and I have finally got my golf game
together, and my handicap down to 15.

What
is the most extreme thing
I have done?
|
The most extreme thing I have done was to fly over Sydney in an
open cockpit plane, flying so close to the harbour bridge I could
nearly reach out and touch it. |
