Selling Advice

It's a fact that if you prepare your vehicle for sale you will make the vehicle more attractive to potential buyers and improve the chances of getting more money for it. So what do you do? There are some straightforward things you can do that will immediately make the process easier for the buyer, and therefore, you.

Clean the vehicle thoroughly, inside and out. It is impossible to over-clean a vehicle. If at all possible, get it detailed (including an engine wash, shampoo and a polish - this is a small investment with excellent returns)

If asking top dollar consider having any aesthetic defects repaired

Ensure the paperwork is in order. Have the Registration Papers available, and have the vehicle inspected by an RTA approved service station and have the resultant Pink Slip handy for the buyer to inspect (if there are any defects then consider rectifying them or be prepared to reduce your asking price in lieu of)

Consider an NRMA inspection for the vehicle prior to advertising - this does attract buyers

Ensure service books are up-to-date (get them stamped by the dealer if not)

If you have had any major work done on the vehicle, or added new accessories, have the receipts available to show the prospective buyer

Ask a realistic price - we will be happy to give you an appraisa, contact any of our team.
