Is Safety a top concern for

My step-son recently had an accident, which sadly is quite common
with young men.
He collected a Traffic Light Pole at excessive speed and lived,
to learn a lesson, I hope.
At the accident, which was close to home, he was told by the attending
police that if he had been in one of the many 'other' cars
driven by young people that he would be 'splattered on the road',
and not
standing there giving his details to the police The policeman
was quite graphic
with his description but he was telling it as it is.
